Iniciamos el nuevo curso. El próximo día 19 de septiembre tendrá lugar el "Día de América en Asturias", una celebración con más de 60 años de tradición en la que se homenajea a los primeros indianos y a los distintos países iberoamericanos de acogida.
El anterior cartel anunciador de las fiestas realizado por Alfonso Iglesias se ha mantenido, año tras año, a lo largo de los últimos 20 años. Este año el Ayuntamiento de Oviedo ha invitado a Pablo Amargo a la renovación y actualización de la imagen gráfica de esta celebración que cuenta cada año con mayor afluencia de público.
Amargo realiza un homenaje a los nativos americanos, a sus músicas y a sus tradiciones al tiempo que hace un canto a la naturaleza como eje vinculante con la comunidad asturiana.

The next day, September 19, will take place on "America Day in Asturias", a celebration with over 60 years of tradition that pays tribute to the early American natives and host various Latin American countries.
The poster made by Alfonso has been maintained, year after year, along the last 20 years. This year the City of Oviedo has invited Pablo Amargo to the renovation and upgrade of the graphic image of this celebration that has each year with bigger audiences.
Amargo performs a tribute to the Native Americans, their music and their traditions while making a hymn to nature as binding axis with Asturian community.
