PREMIO AMERICAN ILLUSTRATION.

Este cartel realizado por Pablo Amargo para la "Semana Ilustrada" en Gran Canaria ha sido seleccionado ganador en los American Illustration. En esta edición se han presentado 9.420 trabajos, siendo escogidos tan sólo 384 imágenes en sus distintas categorías. El mes de noviembre se realizará en New York la exposición con los trabajos premiados así como la edición mundial del libro.
Amargo repite este reconocimiento por segundo año consecutivo, ya que el año pasado sus ilustraciones para "Casualidad" (1) obtuvieron la misma distinción.

This Amargo's Poster made for Gran Canary illustrated week has been selected winner to appear in the American Illustration 33 anual award book.

From 9,720 images entered by 1,439 illustrators, magazines, agencies, publishers and schools, the jury selected, by a majority vote or better, only 384 images to appear in the book and represent the best pictures from 2013. American Illustration 33 will be printed in full-color and distributed worldwide in hardcover.
This year's distinguished jury included Steve Byram, Artist and Designer, Screw Gun Records; Chris Dixon, Design Director, Vanity Fair; Marti Golon, Art Director, Reader's Digest; Amy Hausmann, Deputy Director, MTA Arts for Transit & Urban Design; Peter Morance, Art Director, The New York Times, Science; Len Small, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Nautilus; and Alex Spiro, Creative Director, co-Founder, Nobrow

It is the second time Amargo is awarded by American Illustration. Last year with his illustrations for Chance (1).
